Good Lawyers Do Exist, I Promise

Hiring A Lawyer Just Became Essential in 2018

In your head you’re probably screaming at me, “Not the lawyers I know. And we even share a house.” Would you please indulge me for a few minutes? Like you, I know a lot of lawyers, attorneys, counselors; I even have an uncle whose profession is a judge in Oregon.

And yes, a lot of them are characters that have no spine, no word of honor, greedy, cowards. Am I accurate enough?

Good Lawyers Do Exist, I Promise

Lawyers Vital

However, I also know a number of these people who are among the most selfless, most generous, and bravest, and some by golly, are the most spiritual human beings I have ever known. Some even go the extra mile, doing things not in the job description.

Everyone needs a lawyer/counselor/attorney. If you’ve never needed them, I guarantee you, there will come a time when you will. And these days, it’s getting to the point where there’s no excuse for NOT having a lawyer.

Lower rates, almost no communication barriers, even hiring a lawyer online is becoming very common now (lesser hassle with the same excellent service).

Word Picture

And if you think having a lawyer is not really that critical, visualize this — you come home from a full day at work (overtime even), you park your car, you hear the sirens blaring behind you and your heart starts to pound like you know what’s gonna happen next.

Well, to make the long story short, they found some cohiring a lawyer onlinentraband in your house (which doesn’t belong to you because why would they?).

They’re taking you in for questioning and then they tell you those famous Miranda rights, “You have the right to remain silent. Blah, blah, blah. You have the right to speak to an attorney (wink, wink), and to have an attorney (there it is again) present during any questioning.”

And you respond with, “If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be provided for you at government expense.” Wow. You got me because that’s really what it says. The real question now is, do you honestly want the government to provide you with an attorney that THEY’RE paying?

Who Are You?

Now, let me make myself clear, I have nothing against the government or lawyers working for them. I definitely have no problem with having the government foot the bill to defend me.

But allow me to make this analogy: who would you be more confident with — a doctor that you regularly meet every month and truly knows you? or are you comfortable with a doctor assigned by the hospital (most probably the one with the lowest possible rates)?

I would imagine this would be the same with an attorney. It doesn’t really matter how you get one — whether you go through an agency, you try hiring a lawyer online, or even just getting the one referred by a friend.

They Exist

So why procrastinate? Get a lawyer now. Believe me when I say that it will make you feel more secure and more at peace; knowing that whatever happens in the future, you will have someone to counsel you, to advice you, and generally, just to be with you every step of the way.
